Following the rumors that have repeatedly surfaced and the statement made during the broadcast of the 113th Nordderby on Sportschau, the SG Flensburg-Handewitt feels compelled to take a stand on the transfer rumors surrounding Simon Pytlick.
Simon Pytlick has a long-term contract with the SG Flensburg-Handewitt until 2030, and those responsible at the Flensburg club confirm that Simon Pytlick's contract contains an exit clause - as is not uncommon in the industry. However, they are taking a clear stance against statements that Simon's transfer is planned for next summer.
"We will not be selling Simon in the summer of 2026, and there is no exit clause for the summer of 2026 either. We would like to continue on the path we have taken with him," said Ljubomir Vranjes, Sporting Director of SG Flensburg-Handewitt.
The SG will not comment on any further details of the contract. "We do not take part in rumors and do not comment on contract contents as long as there is nothing to announce," concludes SG CEO Holger Glandorf.
