- The Danish backcourt player has signed a four-year contract on the Flensburg Fjord.

Victor Kløve will join SG in 2027

SG Flensburg-Handewitt has secured the services of Victor Kløve. The Danish player will join SG in the summer of 2027 and has signed a four-year contract. The backcourt player is expected to open up new possibilities for the team, particularly on defense.

The 24-year-old Kløve brings a skill set that aligns well with SG’s vision for the coming years. His strengths lie primarily in defense. The Danish player stands out for his physicality, dedication, and defensive skills.

“Victor is a player we’ve been watching for some time and in whom we see great potential. His defensive qualities, in particular, are of interest to us. He’s physically strong, very present in one-on-one situations, and works hard for the team,” says SG Managing Director Holger Glandorf. “We believe he’s a great fit for our team and the direction we want to take. That’s why we’re pleased to have secured him for four years with the SG.”

Aleš Pajović is also looking forward to the new addition. “Victor’s strengths clearly lie in defense. There, he can help us with his physicality and his attitude. At the same time, he’s still a young player in whom we see potential for development,” says the SG coach. “He’s a player who works for the team. That’s an important quality for us.”

For Victor Kløve, the move to the fjord is also a step of special significance. As a Dane, he knows the connection between his home country and the SG and is looking forward to being part of that history himself in the future. “I feel very honored that Flensburg has chosen me. The SG is a club with a proud tradition, great ambitions, and fantastic support. I know what kind of atmosphere can prevail in the arena, and that’s why it will be something very special to experience it as a player on the home team. I see this move as an exciting new chapter, and I know that the club’s ambitions align with my own. As a Dane, it’s naturally very special to become part of a club where so many Danish players have left their mark over the years and helped shape Flensburg’s history. I have great respect for this history and tradition, and I hope that I, too, can do my part and leave a positive mark on the shared future of the club and all of us.”
