- The in-run trailer and its idea

The sparks of "Hölle Nord"

The GP JOULE Arena is always darkened before kick-off. The run-in ceremony begins, which has included a trailer for years - as a visual and acoustic accompaniment to the SG Flensburg-Handewitt team line-up. This film, which is always worth seeing, is produced anew for each season.

The team arrives in the dressing room. "Flensburg! Flensburg!" The noise from the North Stand reaches the players' retreat. "We wanted to visualize how the atmosphere is transferred to the team when they are in the hot phase of match preparation and the spark of "Hölle Nord" is transferred to the players," SG Marketing Manager Sebastian Kipp explains the idea for the new in-run trailer. The realization was carried out with agency partner HOCHZWEI and its sister company bewegtbild. The concept was ready when preparations for the new season began in the summer. It was ten o'clock on Media Day when the team photo was taken and the first stage of the in-run trailer was on the agenda. Players and coaches strode into the dressing room and made their way to the team circle. It was warm - and made even warmer by the light and fog. Sweat was flowing like a real training session.

The in-run trailer is created
After the first camera shots, the players were divided into groups of three. They had to go through several stations: In addition to portrait photos and other media, it was now time for the individual sequences for the in-run trailer - on the pitch, with the ball or with emotions. After six hours, the last scene was recorded. Edited and organized, the result was a 2:30 minute video. HOCHZWEI suggested two different types of music, and the SG office decided on one of the two. The music and cuts were agreed on this basis. The in-run trailer was finished in mid-August. It premiered on September 4 in the darkened "Hölle Nord".
