Schleswig-Holstein's gaming company becomes the new premium partner of the Bundesliga handball team. The partnership will be officially unveiled at the SG's home game against MT Melsungen in April at the GP JOULE Arena.
The partnership is designed for the long term and is based on a strong regional presence. From the 2026/27 season, the collaboration will also become more visible on the SG's arena pitch.
One element of the partnership is the naming of the east stand in the GP JOULE Arena, which will be known as the "LOTTO Schleswig-Holstein Tribüne" in future. In addition, LOTTO Schleswig-Holstein will be present in various SG communication channels.
Holger Glandorf, Managing Director of SG Flensburg-Handewitt, says: "With LOTTO Schleswig-Holstein, we have gained a strong partner from the region who shares our values and our commitment to the state of Schleswig-Holstein. We are very much looking forward to the collaboration and the joint projects."
Jessica Witthaus, Managing Director at LOTTO Schleswig-Holstein, added: "We are delighted to support SG Flensburg-Handewitt as a strong partner whose sporting values such as team spirit, a sense of responsibility and commitment also characterize our company. Sport is a valuable factor for cohesion in society and for working together and has therefore always been a special concern for us."
