ALBA BERLIN's ideas platform for games, sport and exercise in nurseries, schools and clubs continues to grow. Teachers, educators and coaches can now find almost 600 videos of sports and exercise games for children aged three and up and the daycare, elementary school and club environments at www.albathek.de.
The latest addition: a separate series created in cooperation with traditional handball club SG Flensburg-Handewitt and recorded at the Flensburg Academy. A total of 30 different games and exercises are now available as an introduction to the sport of handball.
Daniel Endres (Commercial Director ALBA BERLIN and SPORT-VERNETZT site manager): "As we basically work across all sports, the handball series significantly enhances our ALBAthek once again and provides a contribution to how the topic of handball can be implemented in a playful way in everyday primary school life. We are proud and grateful that SG Flensburg-Handewitt, as a cooperation partner, has developed and implemented the series together with us. I can only recommend watching and trying out the mini-series."
Holger Glandorf (Managing Director SG Flensburg-Handewitt): "Handball thrives on enthusiasm, movement and community - and that's exactly what the new ALBAthek mini-series conveys in an excellent way. Together with ALBA BERLIN, we want to get children interested in our sport at an early age and in a playful way and give them positive experiences of exercise."
Johann Volquardsen (Managing Director of the Flensburg Academy) added: "The collaboration was characterized by great professionalism and depth of content. We are proud to have helped shape this project and thus make a further sustainable contribution to sports education in nurseries, schools and clubs alongside our Flensburg projects.
After basketball and soccer, handball is the third sport with its own ALBAthek mini series. The Berlin team, consisting of coaches and camera crew, traveled to the far north especially for this and filmed for three days in a very sticky handball hall. The protagonists are the two experienced Flensburg coaches Sandra Nickel and Magnus Frisk Jensen.
An introduction to the handball mini-series will be given by Magnus Frisk Jensen, sporting director of the SG junior team, and ALBA coach Stefan Ludwig in a live webinar on January 27, 2026 from 6:30 pm.
