Aleš Pajović, SG Coach: "I'm happy with the two points, less so with the performance. I'm worried about some phases. We not only got off to a poor start in the second half, but also conceded a lot at the end of the first half. So we went into the break with a bad feeling. In attack, I currently have the feeling that we're trying to put our heads through the wall too much. We have to fall back on our system more to make it easier for ourselves. There were also a few problems when it came to pulling back. All in all, there was too much that didn't suit the SG. We have to improve so that the bad phases become shorter."
Rúnar Sigtryggsson, Coach HSG Wetzlar: "As always, it was a great atmosphere here in Flensburg. Of course, it's anything but easy to hold your own against the SG, but my team dealt with setbacks relatively well. We were able to keep the game open for a long time. We even have to look at ourselves for not getting even closer in the second half. Despite conceding 35 goals, I saw a good performance in the center of defense, we had made some changes there. We also got a lot of support from Andreas Palicka again."
Lasse Møller, SG backcourt player: "At times, you could almost get the feeling that we were playing against ourselves. Fortunately, we had Benjamin Burić behind us again. There were moments when we played well, then there were too many mistakes again. If you look at the table, we should actually make fewer mistakes than our opponents. But maybe we just have to be satisfied that we got two points because we've played so many games."
