32 clubs will kick off the EHF European League in September. Friday’s draw will determine the group assignments for the preliminary round. SG Flensburg-Handewitt tops the seeding list.
The EHF European League is adopting a new format, which will be played in five phases: the group stage, the playoffs, the round of 16, the quarterfinals, and the EHF Finals. Thirty-two teams will begin their journey in the group stage, which comprises six matchdays from September 29 to December 2. SG Flensburg-Handewitt is at the top of the seeding list. The first- and second-place finishers from all eight groups of four will qualify for the playoffs, where they will be joined by the third- and fourth-place finishers from the EHF Champions League group stage. The group stage draw will be broadcast live on Friday starting at 11 a.m. on the “Home of Handball” YouTube channel.
