- Quotes on the win against HC Erlangen

"Fought well for 60 minutes"

Unbeaten and with 18:2 points, the SG Flensburg-Handewitt go into the international match week. There was also more light than shade in the game against HC Erlangen. The sound bites.

Aleš Pajović, SG Coach: "I don't think Simon Pytlick's injury is too bad and he can go to the national team. We got off to a very good start and exploited Erlangen's mistakes very well. We had problems with a 5-1 defense in the last five minutes before the break. In the second half, we had a few problems in defense with Erlangen's seven-on-six. I also missed one or two saves there. Overall, though, I'm very happy, things are going well. Hopefully they'll all come back healthy from their national teams."

Johannes Sellin, coach of HC Erlangen: "Flensburg deserved to win after 60 minutes. We found it very difficult to get into the game. We then switched to seven-on-six to get our game more disciplined. We were then also more disciplined in defense against the SG's outstanding backcourt shooters. We weren't rewarded enough for our comeback."

Kent Robin Tønnesen, SG left-handed shooter: "I think we played a good game overall. The start in particular was good. But then we made too many mistakes and brought Erlangen back into the game. We had a bit of difficulty there, but then dealt with it well. We fought well for the entire 60 minutes. The most important thing was the two points."
