The successful double trip to Heidelberg and Leipzig was certainly a mood booster. For six days now, the SG family has been in preparation mode, one after the other gripped by derby fever. SG not quite at its best
Elias Ellefsen á Skipagøtu has stood out the most for THW Kiel in recent weeks. The playmaker from the Faroe Islands scored an impressive 59 goals in seven games. The SG's 6-0 defense will have its work cut out for it. "But in the end, handball is a team sport," remarks Aleš Pajović. "Even a very strong individual player can't do everything alone." An important rn important player at the back "Zebras" will be missing: Left-backEmil Madsen, who will be out for longer due to a knee ligament. The SG will also have to do without Luca Witzke. "He's already been involved in team training and has also trained a bit with contact, but he's not yet at 100 percent," explainedexplained Aleš Pajović.
