The SG Flensburg-Handewitt brought home two points from the three-day trip to Turda. Saint-Raphael Var Handball won the second game of the group 35:32 against Bidasoa Irun. The sound bites.
Aleš Pajović, SG coach: "The goal was to get two points, and we achieved that. But the game wasn't perfect, we conceded far too many goals. When we led 18:10 in the first half, our heads weren't in the game. Everyone got their share of the game. Looking ahead to Magdeburg: everyone is healthy. Now we still have a journey ahead of us."
Luca Witzke, SG backcourt player: "It was a tough game. Despite the stress of the journey, we were there at the start. We gave everything we had to be successful. We were able to distribute our strength. At times, we made too many mistakes and dropped too many balls. That's why we couldn't achieve a higher result. The two points will help us move forward."
