- Anticipation is building. The new season is about to begin.

The wait is over: Individual ticket sales for home games through the end of the year begin

It won’t be long before we’re saying once again: “Welcome to Hell of the North.” Together with the SG fans, we’ll make the GGW Arena shake once more, experience thrilling handball evenings, and cheer the team on loudly as they make their way through the season.

Starting Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 10 a.m., SG Flensburg-Handewitt will begin selling individual tickets for all Opel Handball Bundesliga home games through the end of the year. Fans will then have the opportunity to secure their seats for the first home games of the new season at the GGW Arena.

Tickets will be conveniently available through the official online ticket shopas soon as sales begin. Due to high demand, the SG recommends preparing well in advance for the start of sales. If tickets are still available after the online sales launch, they will also be available at the SG fan shop on Nikolaistraße starting Monday, August 3.

“We’re naturally very pleased by the enthusiasm for the SG and the enormous demand for our home games,” says Jan von der Wehl, authorized signatory and head of the Marketing and Sales division. “Week after week, our fans create an extraordinary atmosphere at the GGW Arena and make ‘Hölle Nord’ something truly special. At the same time, we want to be transparent about the fact that the available ticket allocations for many Bundesliga home games are now very limited. Anyone who wants to secure their seat should therefore act as early as possible.”

For all fans who’d like to secure a special home game experience right now, individual VIP tickets for the first half of the season are available today.

With regard to international competition, a little patience is also worthwhile. “As soon as the EHF has set the match dates, we’ll be presenting attractive offers for our home games in European competition. Our fans can already look forward to that,” said von der Wehl.
