Four fan clubs are organized around the games and the SG Flensburg-Handewitt team and are an integral part of the SG family.
This is the second fan club of the SG Flensburg-Handewitt. It was founded on January 1, 1995. Since then, "Hölle Nord" has seen a growing number of members from all walks of life and age groups.

Current number of members: 274
The goals and wishes are kept simple. "We want to cheer on our SG and have lots of fun in the stands and on away trips," say the members. A little seriousness is also included from time to time, as with a small donation recently to the Flensburg children's hospice service.
At present, all domestic and self-organized away trips via the fan club are FREE OF CHARGE for members with a minimum of six people. Only the ticket has to be paid for. In addition, a voucher for fan club merchandise will be credited to the member's birthday.

At home matches, you will find the "Hölle Nord" in the direction of the standing stand in front of the large hell overhead flag opposite block E. The fan club stand is the place to go to chat, make suggestions, register for upcoming away trips and sell fan club merchandise such as scarves, pennants, coffee cups, shirts and jackets.

Our club was founded in 1992 to bring a little more order to a previously rather loose fan community and to get closer to our goal of more effective, peaceful and vocal support for our SG. There are 240 fans organized in our club who enthusiastically support the SG at home matches. We also make our way to away games - national and international - to support "our boys". Since the 2007/2008 season, we have also been supporting the SG's youngsters - as far as the schedule allows. These teams deserve it too!

New members are always welcome. Becoming a member is very easy - simply hand in the completed application form plus photo at the fan stand (we can also take a photo there) or send it to one of the board members. The monthly fees are as follows:
Adults: €5.00 (+ one-off admission fee of €15.00)
Young people under the age of 16: €2.50 (+ one-off admission fee of €5.00)
Pupils, students or trainees: €3.50 (+ one-off admission fee of €10.00)
These fees are used to finance the fan club's activities. First and foremost, of course, are the away trips, for which our members pay less than guests. In addition, from time to time we also arrange non-ball activities such as canoeing on the Treene, trips to leisure parks and much more. There are also events such as the summer party, Christmas parties and a monthly get-together.
Those who like to take the ball in their own hands also have the opportunity to do so in the fan club team. There is currently no fixed training time, but we are currently trying to become more active in this area again in order to get in shape for the fan club tournaments that take place during the handball-free period. The fan clubs of the various Bundesliga teams come together there to compete in handball and enjoy a sociable end to the evening. You can get more information about the fan club team at the fan stand or by e-mail. New players are always welcome.
To draw attention to us as wing players, we have recently introduced new fan club merchandise: various items of clothing (polo shirts, shirts, vests, jackets) can be ordered from the fan stand, and small items (pins, lanyards, key rings, key rings, pens and lighters) can be purchased from the fan stand.

In June 2005, the ball came to rest, but 17 SG Flensburg-Handewitt supporters were active and founded a third fan club. The new club had its public premiere on August 25, 2005 as part of the Jacob Cement Cup. The "Nordlichter" set up their information stand to the right of the entrance in the foyer of the GP JOULE Arena for the first time. The purpose of the new club is self-explanatory. First and foremost, the SG is to be supported at the games. In doing so, the "Northern Lights" - as emphasized by the Danish flag in the logo - also want to integrate the Danish fans.

Among other things, the fan club offers its members
- free fan shirts
- reduced prices for various shirts and fan club articles
- club party once a year
- up-to-date information at the fan stand at matches, on the homepage and from the board
- organization of away trips
- organization of tickets

Our story began in September 2009, when some of us longed for the old days when we used to go on away trips with a fun bunch of people. So we organized a big bus and drove to Nettelstedt with lots of "old" faces. As a result of this successful trip, we met up a few days later and discussed the future. We weren't active in any fan clubs at the time and agreed that we wanted to change this. We simply wanted to organize again in order to join forces better, present a more united front and position ourselves closer to the club. As we had known each other for many years and also did a lot together outside of handball, the path for a new group was quickly mapped out.

For this reason, the initial circle of friends became the "Alte Garde" group, which currently has 18 members. The name has the banal background that we have all been attending SG matches for a long time (including away) and have been able to gather numerous impressions there. Many of us were previously active in other fan clubs and still remember the times in the Wiking and Fördehalle.
We are always open to new faces, but you can't just fill out a membership application and then automatically join. Each individual is also part of our group from a social point of view. It simply has to be a good fit from both sides. If anyone is interested in the Alte Garde, they are welcome to get in touch with us. If they fit into the group, they won't have any problems making friends. You will always find us in the heart of the North Stand or at altegarde-fl(at)web.de.
Until then, we want to carve out a place for ourselves in the local SG fan landscape and look forward to the time ahead of us.
